“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”

Before my diagnosis my first flare up not only stripped me down to the bone but robbed me of my love for food.

I don’t know what was really the cause of my lack of appitite, the depression or the uncontrolled pain, but the inflamation made me look way too thin.

Once we got going with the right specielest and stared controlling my Ankylosing Spondilytis plus whatever else was going on not only did my apitite come back but my body quickly added the pounds. 60+ pounds in a few months.

Thank goodness we got it to stop but here two years later we are still working on getting down to a healthy weight. I don’t have to relearn to love food I just had to learn how to love the right kinds of food. Here I am going to share recipes I use that help me keep within my lifestyle’s diet but also keep my inflamation in check.
